Artist's Description
Painted in acrylic on quality paper
I visited Cliveden House in Taplow Berkshire in May 2014 and snapped some beautiful quintessentially english scenes. This cottage was one of them. I stopped dead in my tracks at the sight of Ferry cottage, and as I happily snapped away I suddenly became aware of the occupiers sitting outside on the patio. I smiled a sheepish grin, luckily they happily greeted me.
About Joanne ONeill
My love for painting started when I was a child. I led a very sophisticated jet setting cosmopolitan lifestyle from childhood and I grew up living and travelling around Europe and many more countries. As an adult it didn’t appeal to me to live in one place, so I moved around a lot living at many different addresses in Berkshire and Surrey. My Inspiration To paint Landscapes My travels throughout my childhood opened my eyes to the beautiful world around me, and I observed from age 14 as a passenger in the family car once ,as we drove from Turin, into and through Provence, and then to our final destination, Almadraba in Spain. how each country is identified by its landscape. because they drastically changed from country to...
